Baby Chinaza Godsglory

The baby you see in this picture is Baby Chinaza Godsglory Onyeka. She is 4 months old. She was diagnosed with Hydrocephalus - a condition that causes build up of fluid in the ventricules deep within the brain. She and Her mother live in Nigeria and can barely make ends meet with the current economic and political conditions of the country let alone afford the necessary surgery needed to correct her condition.

The road ahead is long, paved with surgeries and physical therapies, but this is a start. The amount requested adds up to approximately 1 million Nigerian Naira which is only enough to do the surgery and pay some medical expenses but we recognize that it’s a start and it’s better than nothing.

As a mother myself and one who was fortunate enough to have migrated to the United States from Nigeria my heart hurts for them because I truly cannot imagine what they must be going through or the pain that child has felt since she was born.

So I plead to anyone reading this, please help this child. Help her get a chance at life and help her keep the fight going with you donations, prayers and spreading of this page.
