If you who know my sister Annie Benardo, then you know she would give you the shirt off her back if you needed it. And you also know that she is a proud, unwavering woman. In fact, she is too proud to ask
for help when she needs it. That's why Nancy and I are reaching out on her behalf to ask for your assistance.
Annie, a 73 year old Veteran, barely makes ends meet on her monthly Social Security of $900.00. One of her biggest expenses is home maintenance along with taxes and insurance. And, unfortunately, her home needs a new roof. The original has deteriorated beyond repair, to the point where it needs to be replaced.
Annie is also saddled with rising medical and dental expenses. She lacks dental insurance and is in need of treatment that Medicare just won't cover. She is unable to work due to medical issues and her age.
I know that times are tough for many of us; however, I figure there is strength in numbers. If we all give a little, we can pool our resources and help Annie. Please consider giving whatever you can by
