Please help reunite me with my Bolex!

Donation protected
About ten years ago, when I was deeply scrapped for cash, I decided to sell my Bolex camera. It was a special camera for me. I'd shot a film called "An Injury to One," with it, and several others too. I once dropped it into Lake Superior and it forgave me and worked the next day. Literally the second I sold it I knew it was a mistake. I've been haunted by it and feel like I betrayed a dear friend. Recently, I decided to make another film, a follow up of sorts, called "An Injury to All," about Detroit, near where I presently live. I'd love to shoot some of it on 16mm, just like the predecessor. As it happens, I've also tracked down the original camera, and the owner will generously sell it back to me for the exact same price: $1500. All of this feels like some crazy magic. But I'm presently just freelancing, and staying home with my kids, so I don't have the money. I would be so grateful for help to be reunited with this camera so I can set to work on the film using the only tool I should be using. If you pitch in, I'll thank you by name in the film too!
