"Challenges are what make life interesting and overcoming them is what makes life meaningful."
-J.J. Marine

Play Like A Girl found me through a little science and serendipity. I was on maternity leave, had my baby girl sleeping on my belly and was updating my LinkedIn account with my freelance projects.  Play Like A Girl was looking for a volunteer graphic designer to help with a new apparel collection. Design, Sports, Girl Power...I was in love.

Play Like A Girl reinforces the message that doing anything ‘like a girl’ is positive and powerful.  Being a mom of two girls and an aunt to eight neices there is nothing more important to me than supporting them to be motivated, healthy and confident so they are driven to make a positive impact in our world.

If you have a daughters, sons, neices, nephews, friends with kids, then consider supporting this powerful revolution.

We need funding now as we launch programs in 2017 and prepare for National Girls & Women in Sports Day February 2017 in Washington DC.  Funds raised will be used to support the programs that engage middle school girls in sport and physical activity as well as teaching healthy lifestyle practices and improving academic and leadership skills.
