Playground for a School in India

On the 7th of October 2018, I am running the Cologne half-marathon as a part of Team Accenture to raise money for a family run school project in rural south India.
ABOUT THE SCHOOL
The school, Seethai Achi Nadunilai Pallikudam (Seethai Aachi middle school) is situated in Pallathur - a village in Chettinad, Tamil Nadu in the south of India. The school was started 80 years ago by one of our ancestors in the family - a woman who never had the chance to go to school herself but wished for the younger generation in her village to be literate.
Our family has been hand holding this school for decades now to offer the under-privileged families of the village a free school education for their children. Currently, there are 140 students in the age of 5 to 15 years are enrolled in the school. The government of Tamil Nadu supports the school with a limited number of teachers for the daily lessons in the local language, a free lunch for the students and a set of school uniform. But as you would imagine the costs of running a school (school supplies, electricity, building maintenance, etc.) far exceed the support offered by the local government.
Here is how the school looks like:
Last year we added a new building to increase learning space and alleviate cramped classrooms. Our extended family pitched in a few computers to help these children get a broader view of the world. Both of these have been very well received by the students and their families. So we wish to continue that streak of adding a new facility or dimension to learning every year.
WHAT AM I RAISING MONEY FOR?
This year we wish to add a playground to the school which is currently missing. Many of the teachers in the school have expressed that such a playground will be a big help in the healthy upbringing of the kids. In addition we would also like to provide the school with some sports equipment.
The design for an all-weather, eco playground has been drawn up by Anthill Creations - an Indian organization that specializes in making eco play areas accessible to children across India.
The total expected cost for such a playground and the sports equipment would be Euros 5000.
I am also delighted that our twelve year daughter - Ivanna will be running the children’s marathon to support me.
