The Strand Center for the Arts partners with the City of Plattsburgh again this year for the 2nd Downtown Plattsburgh Holiday Parade & Tree Lighting. The Strand Center is a non-profit organization that works hard to provide ongoing and diverse entertainment & arts for our community.
The Strand Center needs your help! Following the parade on December 3, the Strand Center will light up the large tree on their front lawn. In order to make this have a real impact, more lights are needed. The lights that decorated the tree last year were $2,000, but if you were present at the tree lighting, you know that more is needed!
We ask for your support in helping us to really LIGHT the tree up! The tree will be light immediately after the parade and thousands of community members will be in attendance. With your help, we can decorate the tree as it should be. $5, $10 or any amount you are willing to give is greatly appreciated!
