Please help me create this years alternative Oscars statue.
The Oscars or Academy Awards are the most recognized and celebrated awards on the planet. And we are right to celebrate the best that Hollywood has to offer.
For the past 4 years I have created an alternative Oscars statue to highlight issues that often go unnoticed in the glitz and glamor of Hollywood, these have included drug addiction, hero worship and exploitation.
This year have teamed up with legendary sculpture Ginger - who in 2016 produced the naked Donald Trump Statues, to come up with what will be not only be the best yet, but also a powerful and poinant comment on culture and recent events.
Obviously we can't say what it is yet, that's secret! This year's piece is certain to get people talking like never before. The piece is expected to get global media attention and blow up the internet.
The piece will be revealed to the world on Thursday 1st March - 3 days before the awards ceremony.
Art is not cheap and projects like this don't actually earn the artists money. There are materials, paint, fabrication, supplies, security for the piece, etc. it all adds up.
So here's where you can help me.
