Plastic Diamond, is the untold story about the global plastic crisis as demonstrated through the microcosm of the island of Bali. It explores how our modern era is dealing with the social, financial and environmental impacts of our plastic use. It is a story of change makers and those who wish to disempower them.
About The Filmmaker
My name is Charles Scarcériaux. I am a native [French, Belgian] and the producer, director, and editor of Plastic Diamond. As a former portrait photographer, ancient traditions, cultures and peoples inspire me and are the lifeblood of my art.

Through travels for my photography work, my eyes were opened wide. It became impossible to ignore the epidemic nature of our global plastic crisis. As such Plastic Diamond has become a mandate and I am thrilled to use the medium of film to bring awareness, hope, and connection to our world.
What We Need & How You Can Help
Whether we like it or not, every single living being is, or will be impacted by this crisis. I am honored to have gained the trust of many people in Bali who bravely told the true story. I have accumulated incredible footage that I wish to share with the world at its highest potential. We are in the final stages of this production, but still need your help!
Our campaign is a not only a wonderful opportunity to complete Plastic Diamond, but to come together now to become a part of the solution.
Your generous and heartfelt support will go towards:
· 60% Color correction and sound design
· 15% Music/footages copyrights
· 14% Film festivals, Gofundme and distribution fees
· 11% Travel expenses in the US for final interviews
All donors will receive a Thank You credit in the film (unless you prefer to keep your donation anonymous). Donors who give $3,000 or more will be featured as Production Sponsors in the film credits.
After the documentary is finished, it will be presented to international film festivals and then distributing into Video On Demand.
Estimated delivery time: October 2019
Estimated run time: 35 minutes
Any additional support could and will be used to go back to Bali, increase video equipment quality, allow more laboratory tests and cover attorney fee ($20 000).
