Place + Space

Description: Place + Space gives choreographers, dancers, and audience members alike the place and space for intimate connection through the art of movement. Hosted in a non-traditional setting, Place + Space showcases Tucson artists as they spread their creativity through the venue to all that attend.


Purpose: Tucson has a lot of talented artists that go unseen. Place + Space will showcase youth artists of various backgrounds, who normally do not have the opportunity to perform. By having the performance out of the theatre, the dance experience becomes more intimate. There is a suggested fee, but nobody will be turned away for lack of funds so it will be more accessible as well.

Funds: Dust Dance Collective is covering venue down payments with money they have received for performances. Your donation will be used for space rental fees and equipment fees.
