Ellie's GIVE Service Trip to Tanzania

For as long as I can remember, I have always dreamed of taking an international service trip to help those in need. On July 24th, I will be embarking on a two week volunteering trip to the country of Tanzania in Africa.

I am taking the trip with the GIVE Program whose mission is to inspire growth, empower global citizens, and ignite sustainable change worldwide. While in Tanzania, we will be building eco-friendly educational infrastructures out of recycled materials, teaching and tutoring children, implementing water projects to provide clean water, and assisting in environmental conservation projects.

While I will be working hard this summer to help pay for the trip, any generous donations will  be extremely valued, regardless of the amount. The trip will cost a total of around $5,000 after air fare, supplies, lodging, meals, and miscellaneous items that will be used on the trip. 

Support would mean the world to me and I would be extremely grateful for thoughts as I prepare to take on this life changing experience. I am very fortunate to be able to engage in this experience and make a positive impact in the world. The experience that I gain over this trip I plan on bringing back to better the lives around me.
