Our baby Kilo is 4 month old Great Pyrenees puppy, he has an innocent forgiving heart. Yesterday evening it was so heartbreaking to have witnessed him get attacked and injured to such a degree that a surgical specialist had to take on his case. We had taken our Kilo on his usual walk for the evening and we decided to take him somewhere new for him to explore. It all happened so fast as the Pitbull and Kilo crossed paths and our baby was attacked. We rushed Kilo to the Animal Hospital where they took him back for x-rays, IV, etc. Kilo has trauma to the skull, broken cheek bone and his right eye is pushed so far back we are praying it can be saved. The owner of the other dog has agreed to pay for his stay at the Rehabilitation Center in Fayetteville Kilo is currently staying overnight or until further notice.  We did have to pay $630 out of our pocket last night at the ER in Springdale. Therefore, the medical expenses are going to be too much for us to handle along with future meds, surgery, gas, and anything else that requires to be done in order for Kilo to try and be the same loving pup. It's going to take time for him to heal and recover. Our big baby Kilo is a member of our family and he has won our hearts since the first day we brought him home!We ask for any sort of help towards the cost to help us insure Kilo gets all the help he deserves. Thank you and God bless all.

I want to start by saying a big thank you to all you guys! Not sure if a thank you is enough. We appreciate every single one of you who has helped in any sorta way, supported our baby Kilo and ourselves on this journey. It really touched our heart how amazing you guys are! Kilo went to his check up last week and finally got the cone off! He healed so good the staff was amazed! Not to mention Kilo gave all the sweet staff that took care of him hugs! Our sweet baby has been doing so great! He was so excited they finally took the cone off haha. Thanks everyone once again. Much love from us and Kilo. God bless!

Kilo's surgery was a success! We will be picking him up today and we are so happy to have our baby back home! Even though he lost his right eye he will fully recover. It will take time but we have faith Kilo will be the sweet playful boy he was before this! He has been a tough baby. I'm sure this has been harder on us then on Kilo. He's just wondering why he hasn't been able to chill in his pool and be with his family! The owners aren't being cooperative and till this point we have paid up front for everything. I can't find the right words to express how blessed we are to have everyone's support. Thanks to every single one that has helped in any sort of way in Kilo's Recovery. Thank you so much everyone! We appreciate each of you. God bless! Also want to thank all the staff and Dr. Sharp at Advanced Veterinary Surgery and Rehabilitation Center in Fayetteville AR for being very supportive and taking care of our sweet baby.
