Kitty medical bills
Donation protected
Last night, I noticed Edward (my kitty) acting strangely and knew something was off. I took him to an emergency vet around 11 PM, and they told me that he had a full urinary blockage and would have to be put under for a catheter to be put in. On top of this, he'll have to stay and be observed/have tests done for 5 days in total. Since this is quite a long hospital stay, the bill was a lot more than I was expecting ($4000), but I was panicked and only thinking about saving Edward so I took out an emergency loan via Scratchpay. I know this was the right thing to do, but the reality of the situation is now setting in and I am anxious about how I am going to pay the loan off. I am already in quite a bit of student debt, and I only have time to work a part time job with my class schedule.
If you know me, you know I am so in love with this little kitty, and I talk about him at every chance I get. All animals are special, but if you've met Edward you know he is one of a kind. I "fostered" him about a year ago but quickly became a foster failure, because I knew instantly that I had to keep him. He is 100% worth any kind of crazy medical expenses.
If you're able to, please help me tackle these giant vet bills for his lifesaving surgery. Any amount helps. If you're unable, please share on social media to attract some fellow animal lovers!
