Hello,
My name is Kristina and I have the honor of being the tia (aunt) of baby Romeo. Romeo has been diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare pediatric cancer that originates in the soft tissues of the body, including the muscles, tendons and connective tissues. There are about 250 cases diagnosed each year in the United States. Romeo's rhadbo tumor is located near his prostate and bladder. This March begins his ten month journey of chemotherapy and radiation.
The funds raised will be used to pay for Romeo's home care needs while his mom continues to attend college classes in pursuit of a nursing degree. Becuase of Romeo's chemo schedule and various medicines, a licensed home care nurse is needed to watch him several times a week. The expense of these visits are beyond what we can currently afford.
A little more about Romeo: Romeo is a 14 month old heartbreaker with eye lashes and a smile that will make you swoon. He loves to dance, throw a ball, and make goofy faces. He is the youngest of three, with an older sister (5yro) and brother (3yro).
