Pizza for Tufts Student Journalists
Donation protected
You may have heard that Anthony Scaramucci, A86, A14P, threatened to sue the Tufts Daily. (If not, here’s the Daily’s take on the situation: https://tuftsdaily.com/opinion/2017/11/27/cease-and-desist-letter/)
He then did an interview with the Tufts Observer in which he claimed the threat of a lawsuit against a student newspaper from his own alma mater was a “proportional response” to the op-ed (which you can read here: http://tuftsobserver.org/anthony-scaramucci-speaks/).
I’m a proud alumnae who thinks our favorite student journalists deserve some pizza, maybe even some calzones from Helen’s. By my math, $500 will buy enough Bluezones to feed the staffers at the Tufts Daily and the Tufts Observer. So donate a couple of bucks if you believe in the power of the free press, at all levels, and give our journalists pizza.
