Help Steeler Nation Join the DC Climate March
In January, Donald Trump took office as the only climate denying world leader. Since his inauguration, he has appointed Scott Pruitt to the EPA - a man who wants to cut the agency’s budget by 30%. Trump has threatened to pull out of the Paris Climate Agreement. Trump has attacked the Clean Power Plan. Trump is set to dismantle every environmental protection our movement has achieved.
We know that in addition to poisoning our planet, these actions take a heavier toll on poor communities and communities of color. They will result in massive layoffs for the working Americans who protect our environment
On April 29th, to mark the first 100 days of the Trump administration, help four busloads of Southwestern Pennsylvanians join the People’s Climate Mobilization in Washington DC to fight back against the Trump Agenda. We need your help to raise $10,000 to make sure that the Steeler Nation has a loud voice at this DC Climate March. We must make sure that climate change denial, racism, sexism and xenophobia do NOT become the new normal.
We are a coaltion of Southwestern Pennsylvania organizations including Sierra Club, Service Employees International Union and 350.org that have endorsed the Climate March In Washington DC on April 29. I am Tom and I work for the Sierra Club.
Give what you can but give by March 29 so we can fill those four buses. We thank you for support-and so does the planet.
