Pilsen Junior Scientists go to DC!

Jungman Elementary School is a small school located in the Pilsen neighborhood of Chicago. Jungman serves a 100% low income population with limited resources and access to funding.

On April 1, eight of our Junior scientists showcased their creativity and innovation at the 2017 Chicago Student Invention Convention. Over the course of ten weeks, student inventors brainstormed problems, researched solutions, and ultimately designed prototypes and inventions which were then shared at the convention before a panel of judges.

Jungman School is proud to announce that 4 of our students are among the top finalists and are eligible to attend the National Convention and Entrepreneurship Expo on June 1-3 at the United States Patent and Trademark Office in Washington, D.C.

We need your support to get our Junior Scientists there. Please consider making a donation to help fund this once in a lifetime opportunity for our students!
Any monies collected over the amount needed to fund this endeavor will be allocated by Friends of Jungman-501C3 to fund future STEM opportunities for our students!
