Pil River Park

Pil River Park is the result of an Information Night held in Piltown Community Centre last October  where John O Shea R.I.P. made the Deal (Dale) Yard (area surrounding the old Garda Station) and €50,000 available to the community if people were interested in forming a committee to build a playground there.  Names of those interest were given on the night and our first meeting was held in December 2018.


Since then we have been busy with doing consultations with the community, getting ready to go for planning permission, researching grants and planning fundraising events. 


The door-to-door envelope collection that has been taking place in Piltown, Owning, Templeorum and Fiddown over the last week has been very well supported. Thank you everyone.   We have received great response, interest, support and advice from the community.  Since a large number of people no longer carry cash and wish to use their card it has been asked that we set up a Go fund Me page to enable them contribute.  So here we are - Go Fund Pil River Park.
