Philip White Memorial Fund
$5,687 of $5,000 goal
Philip was known for his compassion, his wry and quirky sense of humor, his generosity, and his desire to care for others. He gave what he could to others when the opportunity arose, even the clothes off his back. Philip was excited to be finishing a program to be a phlebotomist and medical assistant in the coming weeks. He loved to cook and had a soft spot for caring for animals. Although Philip’s life was not without struggle, he was hopeful, independent, and courageous in his efforts to improve his circumstances and those of the people he loved.
Philip’s sudden and untimely death has left his family with unexpected expenses for his final arrangements and other needs. There is an active police investigation regarding the circumstances of his death. Friends, family, colleagues, and other supporters are invited to help Philip’s family meet financial demands as they face this tragedy. No gift is too small. All donations will go to the White family to help with costs associated with Philip’s funeral and related expenses. Any excess funds will be donated to worthy organizations such as Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD), National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), and the San Diego County Bicycle Coalition. We encourage you to share this page with your friends to increase potential for financial support.
In addition, the White and Steiner families also welcome emotional support in whatever way you might feel led to help them.
Information about services will be provided once arrangements have been finalized.
Can you believe with your support we have nearly reached our goal?! Words cannot express the depths of our gratitude to each of you who has supported us emotionally and financially during this difficult time.

Jeana, we will be in touch! Thank you so much.
We have a card for your family and are collecting donations as well. You can contact me at the campus 760 918-8198 as our staff and students would love to meet you. If possible, we would also like to attend his memorial.
Jeana Sanchez...Philip spoke so highly of his instructors at his school. At some point I would love to meet with you and share about Philip, if possible.
We are overwhelmed by your love, prayers, and generosity. Words can't express our gratitude.
I work at the school where Philip attended the medical programs. We are deeply saddened and devastated by his loss and he was very special to us all who knew him. My prayers are with you.
