Philippine Typhoon Ruins Christmas

Donation protected
Dear Family and Friends,

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas, Hanukkah (Chanukah), and Kwanza holiday like I did here in the U.S.?  I’m reaching out to share a tragic event that happened on Christmas Day in the Philippines, my parents’ home country.  A late-season typhoon known as Super Typhoon Nock-ten (category 4) roared through the country and in particular our province of Camarines Sur.  This is the strongest typhoon to hit this region (Bicol) since records have been kept in 1945. It impacted hundreds of thousands of families, destroying many homes and business.

My family’s small beach fishing town known as Pasacao, just outside Naga a larger city has been flooded, is out of power and struggling for the simple basic necessities like fresh food, clean water, shelter, clothing, and generators, etc.  This is where I need your HELP!

I’m asking for your positive thoughts, prayers and financial assistance, no matter the amount to send much need aid to this devastated town.  Your generosity will go to work immediately!

You can also send care packages, new and used clothes, shoes, bags, back packs, etc. direct via a Balikbayan Box (google search where to acquire in your area or country), but it can take up to 30 -45 days to arrive.  Just let me know if this is a route you'd like to take?

Please know that this means so much to me to have your Love and Support helping those that are in need during the holidays, I will be forever grateful!
