Cannafest Corporation, select community members, the Grand Forks Rotary Club, and Community Futures Boundary have worked hard over the past 10 days to solicit and process GO FUND ME funding from the “Grand Forks BC Flood Relief” account initiated by Cannafest Corporation.
At this time, we are proud to announce that a total of $33,500 has been distributed to those most impacted by the devastating floods. Applications are now closed as funds are fully expended.
Please note that the account IS STILL open for contributions and as funds continue to grow, the application process will re-open. The generosity, caring and concern of those who contributed to this account is simply overwhelming and we want to reassure you that your support has provided much needed relief to those most in need. Thank you so very much. At this time, the Grand Forks Credit Union also has a GO FUND ME account titled “Grand Forks & Boundary Flood” and an in branch account (Account # 642711) available for donations. Details are available at www.gfcu.com. Please note that if you applied for funding from the Cannafest fund and did not receive a call you do not need to apply again, the Credit Union has your information.
