Special Needs Volunteers helping Houston Special Needs Families
Please donate to raise money for volunteers to help support Houston's Special Needs Families by offering FREE respite services during weekends in September AND donate additional funds directly to families living with special needs affected by Hurricane Harvey to purchase food, clothing, cleaning products and temporary housing for those displaced by the storm.
There are dozens and dozens of qualified volunteers (ABA Therapists, Special Education Teachers, Paraprofessionals, etc) from Autism on The Seas working together to support any families who's typical special needs services are being displaced due to Hurricane Harvey. These volunteers have made the necessary schedule adjustments to provide these services, but need help covering the expensive last minute travel costs.
The volunteers will be working with LifePointe Fellowship Church in Pearland, TX and their Champions Club to provide FREE respite services in these unforseen circumstances. They have an amazing sensory rooms setup specifically for those with developmental disorders. LifePoint Fellowship
Any additional funds will be donated to special needs families associated with Blue Skyes Over Autism to help with food, clothing, cleaning products and temporary housing for those displaced by the storm.

This gofundme's goal is to help the volunteers with any travel expenses (flights, hotels, taxis) needed to reach the areas most affected by the hurricane. Volunteers are coming from all parts of the country including but not limited to New Jersey, New York, Virgina, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. The more money raised the more volunteers can get to Texas and the more families that can be served. We will be sending our volunteers to Texas starting September 9th and will continue to provide volunteers the following two weekends (9/16 and 9/23).
