Dear Friends,
We are a group of artists committed to the continued funding and operation of studio space formerly occupied by our friend and mentor, the late artist David A. Lang. Located on Washington Ave. in Natick, MA, the studio occupies part of the ground floor of the town’s last remaining pre-Civil War era shoe factory.
We intend to preserve this artist studio—a shared workspace with an area dedicated to showcasing David’s amazing kinetic sculptures—with hopes of it becoming a place for people working in and across many forms of art. Our mission is to carry forward David’s love of fostering community by having artists and collaborators working together to exchange knowledge and skills.
Our goal is to raise $5,000 to pay for some of the overhead costs, including updating tools and technology, to transform the studio into a vibrant place in which folks are free to experiment and bring new ideas to fruition.
We can’t WAIT to invite you to our launch party and other fun events!
