Backpacks for Guatemala

Hello everyone! We are Familia Bethel Internacional, a church located in Dallas, Texas with one main goal: to reach the lost, restore the broken hearted and establish families in Christ.
We believe that we have been called to "go into the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation." Our desire is to be able to reach the needs of not only our community but also to our neighbors.
With that in mind, we as a church and community want to come together to help those in need and give back. Jesus said "Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me."
We are raising $3000 for back to school backpack funds for children in El Petén, Flores, Guatemala.
The backpacks include: a pack of 5 pencils, a pack of 5 pens, erasers, a sharpener, ruler, 2 gluesticks, spiral notebook, folders, crayons, a pencil case, scissors and highlighters.
We want to encourage at least 300 people to make a $10 donation by September 4, 2016.
