2018 marks the 50th anniversary of the most iconic and feared ride on the midway...The Zipper!
The ride went "dark" in 2017, but it's been revamped to return to K-Days this year, and K-97 is the OFFICIAL Sponsor!
To celebrate, we're going to send our own Pete Potipcoe around...and around...and around again at noon on opening Day, July 20th, to raise money for the K-97 Little Miracles Trust Fund, giving a "little miracle" to any person or cause that needs a helping hand!
For every $50 raised, Pete will do ONE Revolution...we're hoping to raise $2,500 to send him around 50 times to commemorate the 50th anniversary of The Zipper!
UPDATE: All funds raised for the Little Miracles Trust Fund from this campaign will go to buy a new specialized trike for Caleb, a 12-year-old boy in St. Albert who because of his autism, can't ride a regular bike. His trike was stolen on Tuesday, July 10. Click HERE for more on Caleb.
