Today our world lost a true community hero. A great father, husband, brother, son, coach, friend and so much more.
Santiago, Jr was a giver. The giver of hugs, help, support, love, tri-tip and wisdom. He would give help whenever needed. He always put family first. Now his family needs our support.
Mayra, Santiago lll and Bella need our help. Santiago, Jr was a patriarch beyond compare. His heart was immense and his love for his family was boundless. He coached both his children in their sports. Well known by both DPLL and GVGSA as a fair, fun, thoughtful coach that would give his all for his kids.
Santiago Jr had just attained his dream of co-owning Thomas Towing. He was a hard worker and good boss. His legacy will live on.

This Go Fund Me is set up by the Sluggers Baseball team. We are part of Santiago's baseball family. All funds will be sent to the Community West Bank account set up for Mayra, Santiago lll and Bella Perez. The funds will be used for the funeral, memorial, household expenses for Lil Santi's diabetes medication or care and any other needs that may not be met at this time.
Linda Avina is Mayra's mother and has been selected to handle the withdrawals on the family's behalf. She is overseeing the deposit of funds to the special account outside of GoFundMe. Again, thank you all for this tremendous outpouring of support.
