Penney's Medical Fundraiser
Donation protected
Hello everyone,
My name is Bri Tomas. My seven siblings and I are creating this fundraiser for our mom, Penney. On Thursday, December, 5th, she suffered from a subarachnoid hemorrhage, also known as a brain aneurysm. It is a slim survival rate for those with a ruptured brain aneurysm and of that, a majority of those who recover will have some permanent neurological defect. Due to the seriousness of her condition, she has been slowly recovering in the ICU. This will be a long, delicate process--one for which the doctors predict that she will need to remain in the hospital for a minimum of two weeks, if not more. Once discharged from the hospital, she will then undergo occupational therapy for three to six months.
Because of the procedures and length of her hospital stay, we are asking for small donations to assist with her medical expenses. We understand this is a tremendous favor to ask. Any amount is greatly appreciated.
My family and I would also like to thank everyone who has personally reached out to us and sent kind words for our mom. The overwhelming amount of support we have received has truly touched our spirits in this difficult time.
Please share this post if you can and continue to keep our mom in your thoughts. We wish you and your family a happy and healthy holiday season.
With love,
Brianne, Brittney, Brooke, Brandie, Brison, Bronson, Taylor Brina-lynne & Brenna
