Juvenile Intervention to help teens
make better life choices
PEI Kids is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting a safe environment for all children. We provide intervention, group sessions, and support for system-involved youth impacted by crime and violence.
Young teens in our program are often under juvenile probation supervision or recently released from juvenile detention, and are seeking direction, support, and guidance on how to make better choices, resist gang involvement, and pursue constructive alternatives to crime. We offer a warm meal during our Saturday sessions, when these youth often lack access to school lunch or a hot meal; and it is often the hot pizza that brings them to our community center on a cold Saturday morning to learn important life lessons.
Our Juvenile Intervention program runs year-round and we need $110 per week (for 50 weeks) to provide pizza, snacks and juice in the afternoon for teens participating in this rehabilitative program.
We are grateful for any support you can provide to help us meet our goal and assist young people seeking to turn their lives around.
