About the Production 

Myself and 3 other lovely talented Ladies are going to bring back Family TV.  Remember when the Family would all gather to watch shows like Cheers, Roseanne, Married With Children and Home Improvement, The Golden Girls just to name a few.  Well our show Peg Style will be bringing that kind of humor and family laughing time back to Television.  But we do need a little help from all of you.


Logline:

Quinn and her 3 best friends all actresses of a certain age; see their lifelong friendship challenged when they put ambition first and compete for the same acting roles.


SYNOPSIS:

Peg Style is a 30 min Comedy about Quinn and her 3 best friends all vying for the same acting roles in the Booming Film Industry of Winnipeg(Could be anywhere). These friends are competing against each of the first time for the same roles. They experience the cracks in their friendship. Loyalties are put to the test when they choose between acting careers or friendships


Hi There,

I love everything about the film and television industry. Most recently, I decided to try my hand at writing, which led me to create Peg Style, a comedy about four best friends all vying for the same roles in the booming Winnipeg(could be anywhere) film industry. Peg Style is a tiny bit of realism and a lot fiction. The characters are based on the people we are in real life with lots of fictionalized fun thrown in. A Winnipeg native, my desire to create projects and be working in this industry is strong. My cast and crew are a talented group of people in Manitoba. I am proud to say that we are almost a completely female driven production team.


Bio:

Cindy Myskiw is an actor who this past summer landed a role in a Hallmark Movie called “Love in Design” where she played the waitress “Carol” in a local dinner. For 3 Seasons she played the role of “Mrs. Karen Grimsley” in the award-winning television series called “Millworth” which airs on Shaw TV. She directed 2 episodes in the second season and produced the last 2 episodes in the final season.

Your Donations will Cover

In order for us to create this terrific TV show we need to hire a Director, Director of Photography(DOP), Sound People, Lighting People and quite a few others to make something like this become a reality.  We need to help them cover their costs and with other costs like permits for using certain locations around the City of Winnipeg.

Unfortunately they don't let you just film for free anywhere you want.  All your Donations will go to these types of costs.
