Pedro needs a surgery

In July I had the opportunity to lead an amazing group of people on a mission trip to Ensenada Mexico. While there we met the Torrez-Martinez family. This amazing family quickly touched our hearts. As a group, we were able to build them a home that will not only keep them off the ground, but will also provide them shelter and keep them safe from the weather.
It was during this trip we learned that Luis and Pedro, two brothers from this family, are both suffering from different illnesses. We were able to come together and combine resources to provide the medicine that these boys so desperately needed, but it would only be enough to cover six months’ worth.
I have been in constant contact with this family through a staff member at the Mission organization that we work with called “Baja Bound”. We recently raised money to get the kids to a proper doctor to be re-evaluated. It was at this time that they doctor delivered the news that Pedro the youngest of the two boys would need to have a surgery to help him get back to feeling 100% again.
We are so honored to have met this family and so excited to be able to help them as much as we have so far. But with your help, I know we will be able to do so much more for them. I’ll be heading back to Ensenada Mexico again in January for a different project, but I would love to be able to tell Pedro’s Mom and the rest of this family, that we can pay for this surgery! Please help this family out with whatever you can, and know that every little bit helps.
