The Third Sunday Band is volunteer group of musicians who have come together to offer their gifts and love of music to God and to the broader Christian community. We have our home at St Margaret's Church in Annapolis, MD.
Third Sunday is more than just making music; we are blessed to help lead worship each month where the joy and beauty of music is married to the profound responsibility of joining our clergy in bringing the gift of spiritual growth.
We are raising funds to support a new music project. Our Peace Collection will contain both well known, not so well known, and original compositions and arrangements of songs that speak to the our searching and waiting in Advent through the joy of Christmas. We hope to have the CD completed by the Fall of 2018 to share with others for the holiday season.
Funds will be used exclusively for studio time at Secret Sound in Middle River, MD (with engineer John Grant, an amazing Christian musician in his own right) and the production and distribution of the final CD and streaming music files.
Since all our work is purely voluntary in service to the church, we cover the expenses of our work. Your support for this ambitious project is essential to making it a success. We would be most grateful for your support and your demonstration of faith in our musical journey and in our ministry.
Special Donation Gifts
$1000 - The full band will play a 3 hour concert at any event of your choosing.
$500 - Band Members will provide a MD/DC House Concert.
$200 - Receive two Third Sunday Band special edition Peace T-shirts and 5 pre-release copies of the Peace CD.
$100 - Receive one Third Sunday Band special edition Peace T-shirt and 2 pre-release copies of the Peace CD.
$20 - Receive a pre-release copy of the Peace CD.
