Peace for the grieving

On January 31st, we lost an all-around amazing person to a violent crime. There are no words to properly describe him for he is so many things. He was kind, funny, smart, and had a world of opportunity. He was the light in our family when all seemed dark. Martell Williams was a beloved son, father, and brother. He will be greatly missed not only by his friends and family but he leaves behind his beloved daughter after fighting and winning full custody he was truly her HERO nonetheless.
One look at his beautifully cocky smile and you knew that he was going to take the world by storm. "...to know him was to love him and his smile was just amazing and he always had a twinkle in his eye." Much like there are no words to describe the magnificent person we lost, there is no way to describe the way our family feels.

       We cannot express how deeply he was loved by us and everyone around him. We are truly and deeply saddened by our loss. We all are hurting and handling things the way we know how to. Some go to Facebook to pay their respects in pictures and kind words. Some sit quietly trying to process their loss. We all are grieving his loss.

We want our family and friends to find peace and hope that by hosting a funeral, will give that to some. There's nothing we or anyone else can say to make things better, all we can do is love and remember Martell for the way he was. Kind, loving, flashy, laughing, and full of himself.
