Peabody needs help

Donation protected
My friend and co-worker would never ask for help for himself, so I'm asking on his behalf.  I won't have to use his real name because those of you who know him well and love him know him as Peabody, a.k.a. Brian W. Peabody's home was destroyed in a fire last night during a severe storm in the St. Louis area. The Fire Marshall reports that the fire started when a wire in the electrical box overheated following a lightning strike on or near the house. Peabody was struggling as it was, so there was no insurance. Everyone is safe including the pets. Peabody is about at the end of his rope. He just wants to scrape enough money together so he can get his vehicle running so he can work. He can't afford to fill his medications or put gas in his vehicle. The vehicle barely runs and is far from safe. If he could just get to work for the next week and a half, he'll be able to make it through. But he sees very little light at the end of this dark tunnel. Those of you who know Peabody know that he lives a very modest life with only the simplest of necessisities. You also know he helps anyone, anywhere, whenever he can. Even a few dollars will help Peabody. And prayers. Thank you.
