Brandie's Medical Fund

Hello, my name is Sarah and I am raising money for my big sister Brandie. She is 32 years old and has 4 beautiful boys that range from 5 to 10 years old. Aside from being a great mother, my sister is also an amazing nurse who specializes in skin/wound and ostomy. Although she cannot work due to her situation, she still finds ways to help teach and care for patients who need her guidance.

My sister has a very rare mitochondrial disease that caused her entire digestive system start to fail. Brandie has a permanent ostomy bag, and multiple tubes that gives her the nutrition and medicine she needs. She pays for its materials and the special food every month, as well as many hospital bills because of her multiple surgeries she had to have in order to keep her alive. The money earned will be used to help pay her debt to the hospital, as well as help her pay for the materials she needs in order to keep her healthy.


My sister is my world and I don't know what I would do without her. She is the type of person to never ask for help, to never beg for money and to never accept any donations. But I know she needs this and I feel that this is something I can do for her because this desease cannot be cured. I hope to reach my goal because these treatments and these supplies help keep my sister with me every day.
