Dear Friends, Our family has been devastated over the last 12 months. This time last year, my wife Jennifer and I (John) were both diagnosed with cancer within weeks of each other. My wife was 1st diagnosed with breast cancer. While waiting to get her biopsy results back, I was notified I would be losing my job due to a company wide reduction in staff. I carried all the medical coverage. I felt crushed. I contacted my employer, and they agreed to keep me on thru the end of the year. During that time I was diagnosed with kidney cancer. They also found some nodules in my lungs, but they were to small to biopsy or associate directly with the kidney cancer. 12 months later, thankfully my wife remains cancer free. On my 12 month scan, they noticed some nodule growth, a indicator of cancer. Met with my oncologist, and if nodules are cancer related, then it's stage 4 cancer, no cure. I had 1 nodule removed last week and surgeon felt that it was the renal cell cancer. I am having surgery this Friday ( day after Thanksgiving) to remove remaining nodules from my right lung.
When I was laid off last year, I lost my short and long term disability as well as my life insurance. Please help me to not leave my wife and  boys in financial ruin due to my terminal illness.   My hope is to pay our homes mortgage prior to my death, so that my wife can support herself and our boys on her 1 paycheck.  Any type of support for my family or amount you can contribute will be greatly appreciated.
