Payton Durant Medical Bills

My name is Deeanna and Wes Durant is my brother in law. As many of you know , his son Payton Durant was in a bad car accident on Saturday, June 3, 2017. He was rushed to the hospital, and was in surgery for several hours due to internal bleeding, broken ribs, a fractured skull, and a collapsed lung among other injuries.
Payton was placed on life support but never regained consciousness. On Sunday, the doctors tested Payton to see if there was any brain activity and the results were heartbreaking. His doctor told our family the trauma to Payton's head, caused by the impact, resulted in immediate brain death. They said Payton was gone.
During this devastating time, we found out that Payton was a registered organ donor. This comes as no surprise as Payton had a heart of gold, he loved life, he was always happy and always willing to give what he had if someone needed it. We knew we had to let Payton go and be free to do what he wanted to do and that was to give life to those who wouldn't have it otherwise.
He remained on life support while they searched for matches and his family and closest friends were by his side.
His dad (Wes) was there day and night. As you know, Wes just buried his youngest son Jordan, three months ago so the heartache alone is almost unbearable and then the added stress of the bills he will be faced with is just too much. Wes is self employed so being at the hospital with his son means he doesn't get paid. Unfortunately, there will still be medical bills and funeral costs.
We would like to raise money to help him get through the rough days ahead and we thought this would help him most. If you are able to contribute, no amount is too small and any amount is appreciated.
Payton Durant is doing something extraordinary in giving the gift of life. We think it would be wonderful to do something extraordinary for his dad.
