Many of you have asked what you can do to help with this difficult time. Zach is my dear nephew and I set this up for his parents as they are planning his funeral. Donations will go towards the funeral and memorial for Zach.

Deseret News Article

With deepest sorrow we announce the passing of Zachary Austin Mansfield, our most beloved son, brother, family member and friend. Zachary passed away suddenly on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 due to a fishing accident. Zachary was doing what he loved on this day. He had a passion for fishing, loved the outdoors and took every chance he had to head to the water. He was an experienced swimmer and took care in safety when he fished.

Zachary was loved by many. He was engaged to be married to his sweetheart, the love of his life, Holly Andrew this coming June. He had the biggest heart, amazing eyes, generous smile and was always there to help you in a time of need. He was thoughtful, caring and a true gentleman to his fiancé and other women in his life. Zach had a lot of energy and a fun sense of humor; you couldn’t help but be happy when he was around. He worked hard, and focused all of his energy on whatever he set out to accomplish, he was someone a boss could count on to get things done. He will be greatly missed.

He will be forever remembered by his father Randy C. Mansfield Jr., (Kim); mother Diane Powell, (Mike); fiancé Holly Andrew; brothers Nicholas Mansfield, Conner Powell; sisters Samantha Mansfield, Mikayla Powell; grandparents Randy C. Mansfield Sr., (Susan); Steve Cask, (Janell), Kenneth Powell and many other loved and cherished, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Services for this valiant young man will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, May 20, 2019 at the Willow Park Ward Chapel, 1680 West 700 South, Lehi, Utah. Friends may visit with the family from 9:30-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment will be at the Spanish Fork City Cemetery. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.bergmortuary.com.

In memory of Zach, catch a fish.
