Pay the US Coast Guard during the Shut Down

Tax deductible
How much would you need to be paid to work in these conditions? Our Coast Guard members are saving lives in these conditions, with no pay check in sight.

While the DOD is paying its active duty members during this government shutdown, there is still one more branch: the US Coast Guard. Families will not be getting paid over the holiday season. These men and women risk their lives every day to rescue citizens in distress, enforce our laws AND help keep our borders secure. They do more with less, as the average age of a CG cutter is almost 40 years old. Our Coasties spend months at sea on 300ft boats without being able to contact their families because they don't have the funds or ability to install more up to date technology. Now they are wondering if and when they will be paid.

Any funds raised go to directly to CG Mutual Assistance. I do not and will not be handling any funds related to this campaign. All donations go directly to PayPal Giving Fund (a 501(c)(3) charity) which are then distributed to CG Mutual Assistance.
