Katie Godkin Morales who does AMAZING work in the Dominican Republic with an organization she started 4 years ago - #Batey Rehab Project Inc and #Batey Girls to house families and provide jobs for women to move out of poverty.
She has requested that I join her for a few days at the to bring our educational programs to the Batey girls program in two villages, a brothel and more.
Some facts of why this is needed:
DR is the 3rd fastest growing nation in the world for human trafficking, including sex tourism.
Since 2003, according to the public ministry, they have only had 8 convictions against human traffickers.
This educational program is the beginning of raising awareness and disrupting the cycle of human trafficking in the nation, freeing thousands of women and children from slavery.
For us to do that, we're asking for your partnership. Please donate to this very important cause today.
100% of the money raised is going toward this trip and educating the men, women and children in the DR.
