In April 2015 I was dying. I was housebound for 4yrs and was so big I couldn't leave my home..
I begged for help. I was so big that we couldn't get a proper weight to register on the scales that maxed out at 300kg (47st) so it was estimated my weight when I asked for help was 325kg (51st)
in April 2016 I was admitted to Royal Derby Hospital for a gastric sleeve operation. After a 4 week pre op stay and a few complications I came home.
Since then I've lost approx 28st inside 3yrs and I'm slowly getting my life back.
The biggest issue I have now is the sheer amount of excess skin that's ruining my day to day life. The peramiters of the NHS means that it's literally impossible for me to get the skin removal done by them. They require me to be a bmi of 30 which is approx 15st BEFORE they remove any skin. And I don't have any savings so this is my only chance pretty much.
This will also help me be in a position to follow what's now my dream of helping others who are suffering with obesity and depression due to obesity as a career.
The funds raised will go towards getting a consultation with a surgeon to see how much will be needed to complete the process and anything left over (if we hit targets will be donated to charity)
This has been such a hard decision to make in asking you people to donate to help me.
But there is literally no other option..
