PAULO NEEDS OUR HELP!
On Sunday, 7/14/2019, Paulo Chavez suffered a 16-foot fall from the top of a house while at work. While bracing for impact, Paulo attempted to break the fall with his hands, therefore, suffering extensive injuries; arm fractures to both of his arms, head trauma, facial bone fractures, internal bleeding and a cracked skull. The pictures of him in the hospital are extremely scary.
On 7/16/2019, Paulo underwent reconstructive surgery, and had a metal rod put in his forearm and screws placed in his hand. He will need additional surgeries and procedures in the very-near future. Paulo has been admitted into the hospital since the accident, and undergoes constant X-rays and MRI’s to monitor his internal bleeding. We know Paulo’s recovery is going to be a long and stressful process, but with God, family, and great friends, we will overcome this! Not only does Paulo need your thoughts and prayers, he also needs financial assistance.
For those of you who know Paulo, you know he is a very hard-working man. Paulo works day-in and day-out in landscaping and construction to ensure his family is taken care of. Paulo’s fiancé and 2 kids count on him as the head of household and their main source of income. Paulo’s fiancé, along with his family and friends have not left his side at the hospital.
Sadly, Paulo can no longer work and may never be able to return to his current profession. Paulo’s employer cannot pay for his medical expenses. Paulo’s family is lost without him.
As Paulo and his family try to physically and emotionally recover from this traumatic event, we must try our best to take away the financial burdens to allow Paulo to focus on getting stronger. Any donation is greatly appreciated and will be used to cover Paulo’s medical expenses and the family’s daily living expenses. We ask that you take a moment, and try to imagine a life with zero income, zero hope, and zero chance at a quick recovery.
Paulo has always been there for his friends and family, it is now our turn to be there for him in his time of need.
