My entire platform is connected to my passion for empowering women to love themselves and accept themselves as they are in order to find true happiness. I'm a life-long recovering bullimic and deal with body image issues every day, and for my daughter, I keep trying to make peace with the my reflection. This is why it's so important to me to attend this conference and speak. I'm honored to have been asked. Now I just need to make the trip happen.
I'm not asking for a freebie or a handout. I want to give you something in return. I've traveled, on my own dime, to speaking engagements across the country for a few years now, but need your help to make this happen. The goal I have is a total estimate needed to fly myself and my daughter, Eliana, to the #365feministselfie, as well as for our hotel room. I don't have a childcare option where I live, so I only travel to conferences that understand my situation.
