Paul Gardner in Miami
Donation protected
Paul and his wife Jean were aboard a cruise last week when he began to feel ill. Paul became unconscious on Thursday while heading back to shore. The medical team on the Carnival ship Glory kept him stable until they reached port in Miami where he was transferred to Jackson Memorial Hospital, where he is still in intensive care.
Tests revealed Paul had developed MRSA and has been septic since the night on the cruise. His condition is extremely critical and the next steps are being determined. There is infectious growth on his artificial heart valve and that may require open heart surgery here in Miami.
This fundraiser is to help cover the costs of medical care while on the ship which has already been charged to their credit card, extended lodging expenses, upcoming medical costs, and general living expenses while staying in Miami.
The monetary goal in this would cover the Carnival medical, 30 days of living/lodging, and parking while at the hospital. Your prayers and generosity are appreciated. Paul has been a man of God for many years and we want to bless him and Jean in any way you can!
