Haiti School Health Clinic Project

Patriote de la Zone is a non-profit organization that is bringing educational opportunities to the children of the Vergeon region of Jacmel, Haiti; a remote, rural area in southeastern Haiti. Because of its efforts, a 1st through 8th grade school was built in 2008 and we continue to financially support more than 300 children who attend each year and are eager to learn. 

In this poor remote region, there is little to no access to medical facilities and it is difficult for the children to receive adequate medical care. This summer, we are planning to host a medical clinic for the children at the school. Many medical professionals have graciously volunteered their time and efforts to provide medical and dental care to all 300 children during this clinic. However, we are in need of medical supplies.

The proceeds from this fundraiser will go straight into purchasing much-needed supplies and medication. Items such as antibiotics, gloves, alcohol prep, soap, vitamins, etc will ensure the best care possible. We also plan on holding health seminars during the clinic on topics like basic hygiene (i.e. hand washing) and oral care for the children and their families in order to ensure care is continued at home when the clinic is complete.
