Patrick Ricketts Memorial Fund

Patrick Ricketts worked as a signal technician for Shimmick/AECOM on public rail projects. Patrick was a highly experienced signalman specializing in electrical systems specific to railroads, performing the work as a member of the IBEW. On August 10, Patrick was gravely injured while working in the Twin Peaks Tunnel in San Francisco. Tragically, Patrick succumbed to his injuries after receiving treatment at San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center.
Patrick was a devoted husband to his wife of more than 20 years and also has two grown children. At work, Patrick was admired by his colleagues for his work ethic and dedication to the team. He was a person everyone loved to be around for his wonderful sense of humor, warm heart and amazing BBQ's. He touched many people's lives and will be gravely missed by many - by his friends, family and the construction community.
While nothing could relieve the pain from the loss of a loved one, the strong community at Shimmick/AECOM would like to "pass the hat" in his memory for his family's needs during this difficult time.
