My name's Patrick Roso.
I'm a community organiser and sit on the board of two not for profit companies in Perth while studying Business at The University of Western Australia.
Things at the City of Swan need to change.
I'll be running for Pearce Ward in the City of Swan at this year's local government elections in October.
Change isn't easy and I need your help to do it: Leaflets have to be delivered, doors knocked on and the community engaged. All of this costs money, money that a twenty six year old not for profit worker just doesn't have.
If successful in October, I will donate all leftover funds along with my entire council pay for the duration of my term back to community groups.
What have your local Councillors done for you lately?
Your Councillors devalued your properties in Bullsbrook, without community consultation.
Your Councillors would rather fund the Midland Oval Redevelopment than a dedicated center for Ellenbrook's youth.
Your Councillors used Community Development Funds to pay for a political event in another Ward.
Your Councillors have not delivered for Pearce.
This year, let's make the bastards work for it.
