I am a medical marijuana patient. On June 8th the police raided my home and confiscated my Medical Cannabis illegally. I use the whole plant to medicate all the way down to the roots. RAW not cooked. I cannot get this medication from any dispensary here in Connecticut. I am now having very severe back spasms again and I am in a great deal of pain. Connecticut Medical Marijuana Patients are allowed to possess “The combined amount of marijuana possessed by the qualifying patient and the primary caregiver for palliative use does not exceed an amount of usable marijuana reasonably necessary to ensure uninterrupted availability for a period of one month, as determined by the Department of Consumer Protection pursuant to regulations” as stated in House Bill No. 5389. That bill defines Marijuana as,

"Marijuana" means marijuana, as defined in section 21a-240 of the general statutes; “

“Marijuana” means all parts of any plant, or species of the genus cannabis or any infra specific taxon thereof, whether growing or not; the seeds thereof; the resin extracted from any part of the plant; and every compound, manufacture, salt, derivative, mixture, or preparation of such plant, its seeds or resin. It does not include the mature stalks of such plant, fiber produced from such stalks, oil or cake made from the seeds of such plant, any other compound, manufacture, salt, derivative, mixture or preparation of such mature stalks, except the resin extracted therefrom, fiber, oil, or cake, or the sterilized seed of such plant which is incapable of germination. Included are cannabinon, cannabinolor cannabidiol and chemical compounds which are similar tocannabinon, cannabinol orcannabidiol in chemical structure or which are similar thereto in physiological effect, and which show a like potential for abuse, which are controlled substances under this chapter unless modified;

As you can see Marijuana is marijuana “whether growing or not”, this is very important to a medical marijuana patient!

My current legal expenses are estimated to be over $50,000. Every medical cannabis patient in any legal state should be able to grow this plant without fear of arrest and confiscation of life saving medication.

Without our help all medical marijuana patient rights are lost.

A donation of any amount would be greatly appreciated.

100% of all funds left over from legal expenses will be donated to help patients in Connecticut who cannot afford medication.  The money must go back to those who need it.
