Patagonia FFA Ag Issues Team goes to Nationals!

The Patagonia FFA Chapter is very proud to announce that they have the 2019 Champion Arizona Agricultural Issues Team. The participants in the Agricultural Issues Forum Leadership Development Event (LDE) research the pros and cons of an agricultural issue and present their findings to a panel of judges.
The Patagonia FFA members did very well in the competition at the state contest in June and brought home the state title. This is the first state championship title for Patagonia FFA and we are beyond excited to represent our state on the national level. The team is made up of seven dedicated FFA members including: Lauren Fletcher, John Hubbell, Karina Norton, Arriana Ochoa, Carolina Quiroz, Jesus Quiroz, and Brianna Young. They have dedicated several hours to studying, working through their burro and wild horse management issue and rehearsing their oral presentation skills.
The team has qualified for the National FFA competition, which will be held in Indianapolis, Indiana in late October and need to raise funds to get them to the contest. Please help this group of kids accomplish their goal!
