The Brisbane Paralympic Football Program (BPFP). started in 2006 as a way to allow children of "all abilities" to be part of a team and play football.  Having started with only two players, the Program now has many athletes as well asas ma volunteers including occupational & physical therapists, sports psychologists, social workers & teachers and a number of players in the current state and national Paralympic football teams.

We are not just about advanced athletes. The program is fun and encourages family participation. Our aim is to get young people with a disability to stay active and healthy & to perform to the best of their ability. Training is designed so the senior players can be involved in the progress of the juniors and we regularly hold BBQ’s after training because it is important to mix as a group and for the parents to get to know each other and share information.

The Brisbane Paralympic Football Program is run on most Sunday's during school terms and as of 2018 is now in three locations across South East Queensland.

Our goal for 2018 is to help our players feel part of our team by having new uniforms!  We have found a supplier willing to work with us (difficult as our players range from 3-50) and we thought we would try Go Fund Me to help subsidise uniforms so our families are not having to pay the whole cost.

We are actively seeking sponsorship for 2018 and beyond but are hoping the local Brisbane, Queensland or Australian Community may want to support our program,

There is more information on the BPFP on our website www.bpfp.com.au and our Facebook page www.facebook.com/pg/BPFP1
