Papa's Cancer Expense Fund
Donation protected

On December 30, 2018, John B Son Sr., was placed into intensive care due to, what was later found to be, a very large cancerous tumor. At that time he was heavily sedated and placed on a breathing tube to secure his compromised airway.
The tumor had started growing on the back of his tongue, and grown around his carotid artery and to his shoulder, crushing the artery by 90%. We were told at that time that the best outcome may only buy him another year with his family.
On January 4, he was transferred to the ICU unit at Henry Ford Main Hospital in Detroit for specialized care.
He has 4 adult children and 13 grandchildren. We are doing everything we can to give him more time with his grandbabies, but have been told to start planning for the worst.

John has lived on disability for 26 years and has no assets to aid with expenses.
At very least, we hope to raise money for his final expenses, but would feel extremely blessed to raise enough to give some relief to the family members for the expenses of constant travel back and forth to downtown Detroit, frequent days of missing work, as well as other expenses on the road or at the hospital.
Thank you for taking the time to read his story. ♡
