Hello loves,

As many of you know, family has been extremely important to me. And lucky me, I have quite an extension of amazing people I can call family. I am so lucky to be the only girl my mom gave birth to, but still be able to say I have six sisters.

If you know me, more than likely you have heard me share stories about Anna, Connie, Lupita, Yoyo, Meli, and Aylin.  What I always tend to forget to share is that the bond I have with these girls is thanks to Papa Beto.

While my dad was out working I had the privilege to have my uncle watch out for me. He was there to yell at me when I was talking to boys behind my father's back. He was there to set and keep me on a curfew. He was there to talk to me and watch peliculas de Cantiflas with. He was always there.  Always with open arms and a smile.

Unfortunately, we have not been able to see him smile lately. Papa Beto is in critical condition fighting for his life. He is in Leon, Gto where he is too weak to travel back to the United States to get the attention he needs. All of his costs are escalating faster than we can pay.

I'm asking on behalf of my sisters and I to please help us be there for him.  Anything helps.

Thanks.

As Papa Beto would call me
